Budget Laptop For Video Editing, Adobe After Effect & Premiere Pro 2023

Written by Ehsan Batt

With Adobe After Effects, you can create, compose, and scan layers of 2D sequences in three-dimensional space or 3D space. This software can perform different functions, depending on the needs of the user.

For example, An animator can use Adobe After Effects to design 2D cartoon characters, a video editor can use it to create titles, and a VFX artist can use Adobe After Effects to create 3D movies.

It’s hard to define Adobe After Effects because it does so many things and that’s why so many people use it – it does so many things and it does them perfectly!

What’s the difference between Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro?

Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro are both suitable for editing a video. Which one you will use depends on the project you are working on.

  • Adobe After Effects – This is software for composing shapes, titles, 2D animations, and special effects. You can also create text, images, and shapes in Adobe Premiere Pro, but it’s a lot easier if you do it in After Effects.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro – This is a video editing program whose main feature is to edit videos together. Whether it’s a music video, a documentary, or an interview, Premiere Pro is everything you need. This program also has many other functions such as audio editing, adding text, and adding effects.

The Premiere Pro timeline is much better than Adobe After Effects for video or audio editing. Many video projects require the use of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

By editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, it is possible to completely get rid of Apple and buy a Windows computer at a fraction of the price (sorry Linux users, the Adobe Creative Cloud will not work for you).

Adobe is bad at optimizing its software for Windows, and Final Cut Pro is very well optimized, so to achieve performance levels similar to those of Apple computers above, you will need faster hardware. The good news is that prices are cheaper for Windows machines.

For a choice of prices, the Lenovo Yoga 720 is a great choice. You get an Intel dual-core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, a 256GB SSD and an |Intel HD Graphics 620 card.

Remember that it is a low budget machine. The GPU and SSD will help you with some editing tasks, but the i5 and 8GB RAM processor might limit you.

If you can afford it, upgrade to the 15 inches 730 to a 4-core Intel i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and a 4K Ultra HD display.

If you’re still struggling with performance issues, have you thought about offline video editing? This is a great way to edit larger files on low-power machines.

Advantages: 2 in 1 design; Long life of the battery; Bright display; High performance
Disadvantages: Simple design

Key specifications: 15.6-inch screen, 1920 x 1080 (or 4K); Core i7-7700HQ CPU, GPU Nvidia GTX 1050; 2 kg

Conclusion

It all depends on your own preferences combined with your use which determines the machine best suited to your routine.
